ECY 012 - Malta Sightseeing Buses

ECY 012 is a 1988 MCW Metrobus, converted to O43/30F configuration and operated in Malta by V Spiteri & Sons.  New to West Midlands Travel as F312 XOF, fleet number 3012 and operated by Perry Barr depot.  Withdrawn by WMT in 2008, and passing through a couple of UK operators before export to Malta.

Seen here operating an open top tour on Gozo is COY 009, a 1983 Leyland Titan (B15), new with Leyland H44/24D bodywork (before conversion) to London Transport as KYV 336X, fleet number T336.

Malta Sightseeing Buses - COY 004

COY 004, formerly known as FPT 588C, is a 1965 AEC Routemaster, new with fleet number 2118 to Northern General Transport, Gateshead, with a Park Royal H41/31F body.  Operated by The Big Bus Company in London before export to Malta, it operated in their livery until major repairs were undertaken at Zinnu Bus & Coach Works, and it appeared as seen above.

COY 002, seen here in Vallettas' City Gate Bus Station, was new as UMR 191T, a 1978 Leyland Fleetline, fitted with ECW H43/31F body, to Thamesdown, fleet number 191.
