DBY 333

DBY 333 was a 1952 Ford ET7, fitted with Xuereb B36F bodywork.  Former registrations are 614, 711, A-0711, Y-1034 and Y-0333.  It is seen in the green livery at Sliema Ferries.  Exported to the UK, it was a resident of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust until around Christmas 2019, when it was again imported to Malta.





























DBY 333 was replaced in 2001 by a 1968 AEC Reliance, fitted with Plaxton Supreme DP47F bodywork, having been rebodied in 1979.  New as EJP 561F to Smith, Wigan, with Plaxton C44F bodywork.  Upon rebodying, it was reregistered HPG 650V and operated by Thomas of West Ewell.  It operated as an Unscheduled Bus when first exported to Malta, registered Y-0884, later becoming KCY 884, becoming route bus DBY 333 in 2001.

KCY 884

KCY 884 was another rebuilt AEC Reliance which ended up working for Zarb Coaches.


New in 1968 as EJP 561F to Smith, Wigan, carrying a Plaxton C44F body, it was overhauled in 1979 and had a new Plaxton Supreme C53F body fitted, being reregistered HPG 650V for Thomas, West Ewell.  It entered service with Zarb Coaches as Y-0884 in 1986.













In 2001, it was shortened, had the air conditioning unit removed and it became route bus DBY333, replacing a 1952 Ford ET7.
