DBY 385, a 1977 Plaxton Supreme bodied Bedford YLQ, new to Hill, Tredegar.  Previously registered Y-0385.

CCY 920

New in 1979, this Ford R1114 was new to Bee-Line, Hartlepool, as AUJ 523T, with a Plaxton Supreme C53F body.  Previously registered Y-0920 on Malta and retrofitted with an AEC AV760 engine.  It also carried the registration CCY 880.

DBY 358

DBY 358 was a 1977 Bedford YLQ, carrying a Plaxton Supreme C45F body.  New as UWU 628R to Standish, East Hardwick, Pontefract.  Y-0358 was its' previous Maltese registration.

DBY 355

DBY 355 was a 1978 Ford R1014, fitted with a Plaxton Supreme C45F body.  New to Wilson, Carnwath, registered XHS 122S.  It also carried 3996 EL and XEF 936S in the UK, before becoming Y-0355 in Malta.

ACY 915

ACY 915 was a 1966 AEC Reliance, new to BEA, Heathrow, as KHM 5D, which was overhauled and rebodied in 1981 with a Plaxton Supreme C53F body for Thomas, West Ewell, and then registered OPD 789W.  It also carried the registration Y-0915 on Malta and was operated by Ventura Coaches, Mellieha.

DBY 354

DBY 354 was a 1979 Bedford YLQ, carrying Plaxton Supreme DP45F bodywork.  It was new to Evans, Penrhyncoch as TEJ 102T.  On arrival in Malta, it was allocated registration Y-0354.

FBY 054

FBY 054 was a 1976 Bedford YMT, carrying a Plaxton Supreme C53F body which was new to Margo, Thornton Heath, as PGT 527P.  It previously carried Y-0812 on Gozo.

FBY 048

FBY 048 was a 1978 Bristol LH6L, fitted with Plaxton Supreme C45F bodywork, new as WJN 22S to Boon, Boreham, Essex.  Imported in 1986, and always well presented, it was withdrawn from service in 2011  after receiving major accident damage when an apparent failure of the brakes forced the driver to collide with stationary cars before hitting a wall.  Thankfully, only a couple of people were injured, not seriously. Times of Malta article here.

KCY 898

KCY 898 was a  Plaxton Supreme C53F bodied Bedford YMT, new as CRW 517T to Smith, Tysoe, Warwickshire.  It previously carried Y-0898 in Malta.

DBY 333

DBY 333 was a 1952 Ford ET7, fitted with Xuereb B36F bodywork.  Former registrations are 614, 711, A-0711, Y-1034 and Y-0333.  It is seen in the green livery at Sliema Ferries.  Exported to the UK, it was a resident of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust until around Christmas 2019, when it was again imported to Malta.

DBY 333 was replaced in 2001 by a 1968 AEC Reliance, fitted with Plaxton Supreme DP47F bodywork, having been rebodied in 1979.  New as EJP 561F to Smith, Wigan, with Plaxton C44F bodywork.  Upon rebodying, it was reregistered HPG 650V and operated by Thomas of West Ewell.  It operated as an Unscheduled Bus when first exported to Malta, registered Y-0884, later becoming KCY 884, becoming route bus DBY 333 in 2001.

FBY 036 was a 1981 Plaxton Supreme C45F bodied Ford R1014, new to Terminus Securities, London, W1 as MJX 791W, coming to Gozo via Stopps, Uxbridge in 1988.  Its' previous Gozitan registration was Y-0837.

LCY 892

LCY 892 was a 1979 Plaxton Supreme C53F bodied Bedford YMT, new to Stanbridge Motor Services, Dorset, as CEL 104T.

Operating for the KopTaCo Cooperative, it is seen above in the early 90s and, below, in September 2005.  Previously registered Y-0892 in Malta.
