EBY 598

EBY 598 was a 1945 Bedford QL, with a Vella B36F body.  It was replaced by a Saracakis bodied Volvo B7RLE, which later passed to Skillaci Transport, being reregistered EPY 024.

ZPY 002 is a 2002 Alexander bodied Volvo B7TL, new to London United as fleet number VA297. Later operated in City Sightseeing Malta livery by Oasis Tours.

DBY 364

364, seen in Valletta Bus Station with modernised front end.















DBY 364 was a 1943 Bedford QL, fitted with Sammut B36F body.  It was allocated registration 699, then 1242, A-1242, Y-1065 and Y-0364 before receiving its' DBY registration.


364 seen 25th April 2010, after restoration showing its' rebuilt front end.























364, now registered 312 YUK, seen in Stepney, London, 27th June 2015, after sale to Go-Coach, Sevenoaks, Kent.
















This bus was later replaced by a 1995 Alexander Dash B40F bodied Volvo B6, new as M512 TRA to Nottingham, fleet number 512.

ACY 894

ACY 894 is a Volvo B10M-60, registered H112 OON and new in 1990 to National Express as their 9012.  Fitted with a C46Ft Plaxton Paramount body when new, it is now probably a standard C53F for use in Malta.  It is operated by Cancu Supreme Travel.

DBY 332

DBY 332 was a 1950 Leyland Comet, which started off life as a lorry in the UK.  Bodied by Schembri with a B40F body (in 1954?), it carried Maltese registrations 708, A-0708, Y-1033 & Y-0332.  By March 2004, the Leyland was replaced with a Scarnif B45F Volvo B7RLE

JCY 882



JCY 882 was a 1978 AEC Reliance, fitted with Plaxton Supreme C53F bodywork, new to Essex County Coaches, London, E15, and registered YMJ 550S.  Arriving in Malta in 1986 and carrying the registration Y-0882, it was operated by Zarb Coaches, Iklin.


In 2001, the AEC was replaced by a 1992 Volvo B10M-60, another Plaxton C53F bodied vehicle, this time a Premier 350, new to Wallace Arnold as J716 CWT.  It also carried OIL 5640 whilst in the UK.
