DBY 367

DBY 367 was a 1997 Dennis Dart SLF, fitted with East Lancs Spryte B45F bodywork, one of a handful of new, low floor, buses trialled on the island.

FBY 068

FBY 068 was a 1987 Leyland Tiger, fitted with Plaxton Paramount C53F body, new to Hill, Tredegar, as D64 MWO.

CCY 929

CCY 929, a 1991 Dennis Javelin, fitted with Berkhof Excellence C53F bodywork, was new to Mayne, Buckie, as J10 BCK (pictured here).  Operated by Garden of Eden Garage, it previously carried Y-0929.












This was given a conversion to open top, and was operated on City Sightseeing Malta tours, as seen here.






DBY 365

DBY 365 was a forward control Malta Docks built bus, fitted with Schembri B40F body.  Previously registered 1290, A-1290, Y-1066 and Y-0365.



FBY 067

New in 1987, this Bedford YNT, fitted with Plaxton Paramount C53F body, was new to Trevann, t/a Crawley Luxury Coaches, Crawley, as D854 XYJ.  It was allocated FBY 067 when it arrived in Gozo.

Malta Sightseeing Buses COY 015

COY 015 was operated by Garden of Eden Garage on their City Sightseeing Malta tours, as is seen here in Qawra outside the Bella Vista Hotel (a personal favourite!).  New to Northampton as JVV 266G, a 1968 Roe H33/26R bodied Daimler CVG6, fleet number 266, it was stored for quite a while before use was permitted on the island, owing to the low infrastructure there.





DBY 364

364, seen in Valletta Bus Station with modernised front end.















DBY 364 was a 1943 Bedford QL, fitted with Sammut B36F body.  It was allocated registration 699, then 1242, A-1242, Y-1065 and Y-0364 before receiving its' DBY registration.


364 seen 25th April 2010, after restoration showing its' rebuilt front end.























364, now registered 312 YUK, seen in Stepney, London, 27th June 2015, after sale to Go-Coach, Sevenoaks, Kent.
















This bus was later replaced by a 1995 Alexander Dash B40F bodied Volvo B6, new as M512 TRA to Nottingham, fleet number 512.

FBY 066

FBY 066 was a TAZ D3200, with a seating capacity of 53 in its coach body.  New as G579 WUT in 1990 to Eurobus, Harmondsworth, Middlesex.  Operated by Godnic Garage, Gozo.

DBY 363

DBY 363 was a 2003 King Long XMQ6113, carrying a King Long B45F body. It became DBU 684, a driver training vehicle, with Rudolph Driving School, and replaced a forward control Dennis, which carried a Vella B40F body, which can be seen here.
