Ministry of Education/Education Department GVH 137

A 1971 AEC Swift, new to London Transport as EGN 337J, carrying fleet number SMS337, seen here at the Pembroke depot of the Ministry of Education.
GVH 137 has a Park Royal B43D body.

GVH 137 was shown at the 2010 Commercial Vehicle Show in Malta.  It looks like it may of had leakage issues, judging by the fitment of this tray underneath the engine, complete with drain tap!!!

The last photo I took of it was in Pembroke Depot, abandoned and unloved.

However, I am delighted to report that GVH 137 is now back in the UK for preservation.  I do hope they keep the drip tray!!
